Pricing Questions

How does the free trial work?
You get free transcriptions before choosing a plan. If you arrive from a referral link, subscription checkout gives you a 30-day total trial.
What's the difference between subscription and lifetime?
Monthly and yearly subscriptions include ultra fast cloud processing plus private on-device mode. Lifetime is a single payment for local on-device models only.
Can I use Paraspeech on multiple devices?
Subscriptions cover all your devices. Lifetime is local-only and comes in one-device or three-device tiers.
Is my voice data private?
Yes. Paraspeech is local-first, and cloud processing is only used if you explicitly choose a cloud model on an eligible account. Audio and text are not silently uploaded, and lifetime licenses still cover on-device features only.
What languages does Paraspeech support?
Paraspeech supports 100+ languages with the Multilingual model. There's also a dedicated English-only model for even better accuracy if you only speak English.
What hardware do I need?
Paraspeech supports Macs on macOS 14.0 or later. Apple Silicon Macs can run local models; Intel Macs are supported with cloud models on a subscription.
