Pricing Questions
- How does the free trial work?
- You get free transcriptions before choosing a plan. If you arrive from a referral link, subscription checkout gives you a 30-day total trial.
- What's the difference between subscription and lifetime?
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions give you full access for as long as you're subscribed. The lifetime license is a single payment that covers local on-device features forever. Cloud backends, when enabled for your account, are separate from the lifetime local-only entitlement.
- Can I use Paraspeech on multiple devices?
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions are valid for all your devices. A lifetime license covers two devices, and lifetime referrers can earn extra device activations.
- Is my voice data private?
- Yes. Paraspeech is local-first, and cloud processing is only used if you explicitly choose a cloud model on an eligible account. Audio and text are not silently uploaded, and lifetime licenses still cover on-device features only.
- What languages does Paraspeech support?
- Paraspeech supports 100+ languages with the Multilingual model. There's also a dedicated English-only model for even better accuracy if you only speak English.
- What hardware do I need?
- Paraspeech requires a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4, or newer) and macOS 14.6 or later. It runs efficiently even on 8 GB M1 MacBooks.
