Pricing Questions

How does the free trial work?
Direct Monthly and Yearly subscription checkout includes a 7-day trial with unlimited transcriptions. App Store offers may differ.
What's the difference between subscription and lifetime?
Subscriptions include local and cloud models. Lifetime is a one-time purchase for local models.
Can I use Paraspeech on multiple devices?
Subscriptions cover every device on your Paraspeech account. Lifetime covers your personal devices for local models.
Is my voice data private?
When dictation runs locally, audio is processed on your Mac. Eligible dictation may use cloud processing when a local model is unavailable. Privacy Mode blocks cloud transcription and cloud rewriting for dictation. Meeting Mode recordings and automatic cloud summaries are separate. Lifetime covers local features.
What languages does Paraspeech support?
Available local models include English, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and 25 European languages. Multilingual Large offers 100+ in the direct-download Mac app where available.
What hardware do I need?
You need macOS 14.0 or later. Local models run on Apple Silicon; Intel Macs use cloud models with a subscription.
